Job summary

Tribastion Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is currently hiring a Network & Security Engineer for our Gurugram-based client.

You will design, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, work with advanced routing protocols, and manage security controls across firewalls and IDS/IPS systems. You will also participate in incident response, change management, and network automation using Python and Ansible, while maintaining robust monitoring with SolarWinds and other tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Hands-on with routing protocols OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Experience with firewalls and security technologies.
• Knowledge of security standards ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS.
• Scripting and automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform L3-level troubleshooting for critical network issues.
• Configure and manage next-generation firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).

• Develop network automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.
• Maintain monitoring with SolarWinds, PRTG, ThousandEyes.

We are currently hiring for a Network & Security Engineer opportunity with our client, based in Gurugram.

Please find the key responsibilities below:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure.
• Work on advanced routing and switching technologies including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VXLAN, EVPN, and MPLS.
• Perform L3-level troubleshooting and problem isolation for critical network issues.
• Conduct capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance tuning.
• Manage network hardware including routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, and load balancers.

Security Engineering

• Configure and manage next-generation firewalls such as Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point.
• Implement IDS/IPS, VPN (IPSec/SSL), NAC (Cisco ISE), and security policies.
• Conduct security audits, threat analysis, and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards including ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
• Collaborate with SOC teams on incident response and forensic analysis when required.

Operations & Support

• Act as the highest escalation point for L1/L2 teams for network and security incidents.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration baselines.
• Participate in change management activities including RFCs, impact analysis, and rollback planning.
• Support planned maintenance, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities.
• Contribute to network and security architecture roadmaps.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Develop network automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.
• Maintain monitoring and observability platforms such as SolarWinds, PRTG, ThousandEyes, etc.
