Job summary

Electroflex Engineering in Pune is seeking a Jr. Project Engineer to assist in project execution, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and track activities to ensure on-time deliverables.

You will work with senior engineers, clients, consultants, and vendors to support smooth project execution. The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, about 2+ years in MEP project execution, and the ability to coordinate drawings, BOQ, and documentation.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in MEP project execution and management.
• Basic knowledge of BOQ, vendor coordination, and project documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, technical specifications, and requirements.
• Assist in BOQ preparation and finalization as per project scope.
• Coordinate with MEP vendors for material and delivery timelines.
• Understand requirements from tender department purchase requisitions.
• Maintain and update BOQ based on supplier inputs and project needs.
• Coordinate with designers and suppliers for quantity and quality finalization.
• Participate in weekly customer meetings and daily internal project meetings.
• Support MEP project management activities and cross-trade coordination.
• Review project documents for compliance with standards and procedures.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and estimates.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for project activities.
• Track project milestones, activities, and deliverables.
• Identify issues and report to senior project team members.
• Prepare project progress reports and status updates.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits.
• Support QA/QC activities for MEP systems.

About the Role

As a Jr. Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting project execution, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, tracking project activities, and ensuring timely completion of assigned project deliverables. The candidate will work closely with senior project engineers, clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Candidate Profile

• Male candidate required.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanical/Electrical field.
• 2+ years of experience in MEP project execution/project management.
• Basic understanding of project planning and execution.
• Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical system drawings.
• Basic knowledge of BOQ, project documentation, and vendor coordination.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and manage assigned project activities.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project / MS Office.
• Knowledge of Import and Export processes and related documentation will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Bank Guarantee process will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
