Job summary

Techsol Engineers in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer with 6–9 years of hands‑on experience in industrial MEP and process utilities. You will lead project planning, client coordination, and successful execution including valves, piping, and mechanical systems.

You will drive BOQ and P&ID activities, ensure quality compliance, and deliver projects within scope, cost, and schedule while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and customers.

Qualifications

  • 6–9 years hands‑on experience in executing industrial MEP and process utility projects.
  • Experience in project planning, client coordination, installation, commissioning, documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ, P&ID, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects with timely delivery and quality.”

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer with 6–9 years of hands‑on experience in executing industrial MEP and process utility projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in project planning, client coordination, installation, commissioning, documentation, and successful execution of projects involving valves, tubes, fittings, and associated mechanical systems.

The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Project Execution
  • Execute projects as per customer specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines.
  • Study customer requirements, technical specifications, and contractual documents before project execution.
  • Prepare execution plans and coordinate with internal departments for smooth project implementation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Monitor project progress and take corrective actions whenever required.
  • Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Prepare and interpret P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
  • Understand process piping layouts, mechanical drawings, GA drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
  • Prepare material requirement lists and coordinate procurement.
  • Review vendor documents and technical submittals.
  • Maintain project documentation throughout the execution cycle.
  • Supervise installation of:
  • Process piping
  • Valves
  • Tubes
  • Mechanical equipment
  • Utility piping systems
  • Coordinate site activities with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Conduct installation inspections and quality checks.
  • Lead commissioning activities.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting during commissioning.
  • Ensure successful project handover to customers.
Quality & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to company Quality Management System.
  • Follow site safety regulations and customer EHS requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments before execution.
  • Maintain quality records and inspection reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and codes.
Project Planning & Monitoring
  • Track milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor project costs and resource utilization.
  • Identify project risks and prepare mitigation plans.
  • Escalate project concerns to management proactively.
Client Coordination
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during project execution.
  • Attend customer meetings and project review meetings.
  • Coordinate approvals and technical clarifications.
  • Resolve site-related issues professionally.
Reporting
  • Submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
  • Prepare Weekly Progress Reports.
  • Prepare Monthly Project Status Reports.
  • Submit test reports and punch point closure reports.
  • Support final project documentation and handover.
Cross Functional Coordination

Required Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of industrial project execution.
  • Experience in preparing BOQ and P&ID.
  • Good understanding of valves, tubing, fittings, and piping systems.
  • Experience in MEP installation and commissioning.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and process engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling and tracking.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and industrial EHS practices.
  • Experience in customer‑facing project execution.
