Job summary

Softview Infotech in Chennai is seeking a driven Junior IT Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for our domestic technology staffing. The role focuses on permanent and contract IT hiring, handling a high volume of requisitions, with opportunities to contribute to international staffing for the Malaysia market.

You will source and screen candidates, conduct structured interviews, manage ATS/CRM records, and partner with hiring managers to close roles within SLAs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT/technology recruitment.
• Experience in permanent and contract staffing, especially within the domestic (India) market.
• Proven track record as a recruiter within a consulting or staffing agency.
• Openness to working on international requirements, particularly the Malaysia market.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT/technology roles, from sourcing to offer and onboarding, across permanent and contract positions.
• Source and screen candidates using job portals, internal databases, social media, and networking within the domestic IT talent market.
• Conduct structured, competency-based, and other interview formats to assess technical fit and cultural alignment.
• Coordinate and conduct video and phone interviews, and manage reference checks.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build effective sourcing strategies.
• Maintain and prioritize a healthy pipeline of requisitions, ensuring timely closures against SLAs.
• Support expansion into international staffing, including recruitment for the Malaysia market.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the ATS/CRM.

About The Role

We are looking for a driven IT Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for our domestic technology staffing business. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in permanent and contract IT hiring, is comfortable managing a high volume of requisitions, and is open to expanding into international (Malaysia) staffing. We especially welcome applications from candidates based in South Tamil Nadu (Madurai, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Salem, and nearby regions) who are willing to relocate to Chennai.
