Job summary

Linkworks Tech Labs in Chennai is seeking a motivated Junior IT Recruiter to support our Talent Acquisition team. You will source and screen candidates for IT roles, coordinate interviews, and help maintain a healthy talent pipeline.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic understanding of IT roles, and familiarity with recruitment portals like Naukri, LinkedIn, and Indeed. Freshers welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic understanding of IT technologies and software development roles.
• Familiarity with major job portals and Boolean search is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and handle multiple requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and identify candidate profiles.
• Source candidates via Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, portals, referrals, social media.
• Shortlist candidates using Boolean search.
• Screen resumes for skills, location, notice period, and salary.
• Conduct initial HR screening calls.
• Assess candidate communication and fit.
• Coordinate interviews with candidates and clients.
• Follow up with candidates through the process.
• Maintain candidate databases and trackers.
• Build a strong IT talent pipeline.
• Coordinate offers and joining formalities.
• Maintain regular candidate communication and experience.
• Meet recruitment targets daily/weekly/monthly.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client/job requirements and identify suitable candidate profiles.
• Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, job portals, referrals, social media, and internal databases.
• Search and shortlist candidates using Boolean search and relevant keywords.
• Screen resumes based on technical skills, experience, location, notice period, and salary expectations.
• Conduct initial HR screening calls with candidates.
• Assess candidate communication, experience, interest, and overall fitment.
• Coordinate technical interviews and interview schedules with candidates and clients.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and daily activity reports.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future IT requirements.
• Coordinate offer discussions, documentation, and joining formalities.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
