Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai invites applications for a Junior Engineer, Machine Programming. You will work on SMT programming for Siplace and Fuji, contribute to NPC and BOM processes, and participate in testing and SOP documentation in a manufacturing EMS setup.

Ideal candidates hold BE with 0-2 years, strong English skills, and readiness for night shifts. Health insurance and PTO are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• BE/B.E. ECE/EEE/E&I graduate with 0-2 years in manufacturing, EMS preferred.
• Hands-on SMT machine programming experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of NPI, BOM management; proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.

Responsibilities

• Understand SMT assembly process, SMT machines programming tools and software.
• Perform Pick-and-Place machine programming for Siplace and Fuji.
• Program structural tests for AOI, SPI, AXI, and FPT machines.
• Initiate and implement improvements to the SMT process per customer specs and internal SOPs.
• Provide testing, inspection reports and KPI data validation.
• Prepare process-related SOPs and release documents in the system.
• Conduct user acceptance testing of machine programming software to meet ISO/IATF requirements.
