Rockwell Automation in Chennai is seeking a Press Brake/Machine Operator to join our onsite manufacturing team. You will operate bending and embossing machines, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality through inspections and precise tooling setup.

You will work with production and engineering, participate in Kaizen activities, and help maintain 5S and safety standards in a fast-paced shopfloor environment. Prior hands-on experience in press brake/bending is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in press brake / bending machine operations.
• Understanding of SOPs, safety requirements, and quality inspection processes.
• Willingness to work in shifts and shopfloor environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate bending and embossing machines, ensuring safe production operations.
• Perform lubrication, daily maintenance checks, and machine upkeep.
• Conduct First Piece, in-process, and Last Piece inspections to meet quality standards.
• Load and setup bending tools and dies, maintaining tooling accountability.
• Maintain 5S standards and workplace organisation, ensuring PPE usage.
• Support continuous improvement (Kaizen), teamwork, and training of co-associates.
