Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Engineer, Quality to support supplier quality initiatives in Coimbatore. Diploma in EEE / ECE / Mech / E&TC and 0–2 years in Automotive/EMS/Electronics Manufacturing are required.

You will assist with supplier approvals, CAPA, and documentation for inspection results, aiming to meet ISO/IATF standards. Strong knowledge of PCB operations, Lean manufacturing, and ISO standards, plus MS Office/MS Outlook, and excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in EEE / ECE / Mech / E&TC.
• 0–2 years in Automotive/EMS/Electronics Manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge in PCB operations, Lean manufacturing and ISO standards.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques.
• Planning and prioritizing activities.
• MS Office and MS Outlook proficiency.
• Good communication, analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Studious, fast learner, sincere, dedicated and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier approval process by assessing capabilities and risks.
• Follow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and value enhancements.
• Provide documentation of inspection results relative to area of responsibility.
• Adhere to processes and seek improvements; report KPIs to prevent non-conformities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and quality control reviews.
