Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a Billing Engineer in high-rise residential construction projects (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of construction billing procedures, BOQs, quantity measurements, and contract billing.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and verifying RA Bills and Final Bills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP systems, and billing software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and process RA Bills and Final Bills for contractors and subcontractors.
• Measure executed work based on drawings, BOQs, and site progress.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Billing Engineer with mandatory experience in high-rise residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing contractor and subcontractor bills, ensuring accurate measurement of executed work, maintaining billing documentation, and coordinating with project teams for timely certification and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Measurement

• Prepare, verify, and process Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills for contractors and subcontractors.
• Measure executed work based on approved drawings, BOQs, and actual site progress.
• Verify quantities, rates, and supporting documents before processing bills.
• Ensure billing is carried out in accordance with contract terms, approved work orders, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Managers to obtain work completion details for billing.

Invoice Verification & Certification

• Scrutinize contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Verify material reconciliation statements and work completion records before certifying bills.
• Process contractor and vendor bills for approval within defined timelines.
• Resolve billing discrepancies by coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate billing records, measurement sheets, abstracts, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare billing summaries, payment trackers, and bill status reports.
• Track certified, pending, and released payments.
• Ensure all billing documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.

Coordination

• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, and Contractors to ensure smooth billing operations.
• Visit project sites as required for measurement verification and billing validation.
• Support project teams in resolving billing-related issues and providing necessary clarifications.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Billing Engineer in high-rise residential construction projects (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of construction billing procedures, BOQs, quantity measurements, and contract billing.
