Job summary

Srk Buildwell in Greater Noida West seeks a Senior Billing Engineer to oversee billing, certification, and cost control for real estate development projects. Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 10 years of experience in billing & contracts, preferably in real estate developer firms or contracting companies.
• Experience in billing, RA bills, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GST and RERA in client billing.
• Ability to lead a billing team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Billing & Certification: prepare and verify contractor, subcontractor, and vendor bills; certify RA bills, final bills, and client invoices; verify measurements and rate analysis; ensure billing aligns with agreement terms and site execution.
• Quantity & Cost Management: prepare QTO and reconcile materials; track project cost vs. budget and highlight variances; assist in rate analysis, extra item billing, and escalation claims.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain MBs, bills, and approvals; ensure GST, RERA compliance in client billing; coordinate with Accounts/Finance for timely payments.
• Coordination & Communication: work with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to validate quantities; liaise with clients/consultants for certification and approval of extra claims; resolve disputes with proper documentation.
• MIS & Reporting: prepare MIS reports on billing status, work done, and cost control; support management with data for cash flow planning and financial decisions.

Sr. Billing Engineer (Real Estate Developer)

Position Title: Sr. Billing Engineer
Department: Billing / Contracts / Projects
Location: Sec-1, Greater Noida West
Experience Required: 1015 Years (minimum 6 years in Real Estate Developer/Contractor Billing)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Certification

• Prepare and verify contractor, subcontractor, and vendor bills as per work executed at site.
• Certify RA (Running Account) bills, final bills, and client invoices.
• Verify measurements, BOQ quantities, and rate analysis for accuracy.
• Ensure billing is in line with agreement terms, drawings, and site execution.

2. Quantity & Cost Management

• Prepare Quantity Take-offs (QTO) and reconciliation of materials (cement, steel, etc.).
• Track project cost vs. budget and highlight variances.
• Assist in rate analysis, extra item billing, and escalation claims.

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain proper documentation of MB (Measurement Books), bills, and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with GST, RERA, and other statutory requirements in client billing.
• Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for timely vendor/client payments.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to validate quantities and progress.
• Liaise with clients/consultants for certification of bills and approval of extra claims.
• Resolve billing disputes through proper documentation and communication.

5. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and submit MIS reports on billing status, work done, and cost control.
• Support management with data for cash flow planning, project billing forecasts, and financial decisions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering works, BOQ, and Measurement.
• Hands-on experience in contract billing, RA bills, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Billing/ERP software.
• Knowledge of rate analysis, escalation, and claims management.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead a billing team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications:
