Tata Communications Limited invites a proactive engineer to support Fibre/Mobile Planning and Design activities in Pune. You will update GIS systems with as-built data and coordinate with on-shore stakeholders to meet deadlines, while ensuring SLA adherence.

The role emphasizes collaboration across PMO processes and familiarity with GIS tools like AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and PEGA/SAP modules. 0–2 years in telecom engineering preferred.

Competenze

• 0–2 years of engineering experience in telecom.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/CS/Telecom or related discipline.
• Familiarity with GIS and fibre/mobility networks.

Broad outline of the Role Responsible for driving day to day system and service engineering and operations. This is an operational role within Fibre/Mobile services to Plan, Design and As built the Fibre assets in GIS tools that may seek appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes

Minimum qualification & experience

• Technical/ Engineering degree with 0-2 years of experience B.Eng. or B.Tech. in Electronics/ Computer science/ Telecommunications related disciplines.

Other knowledge/skills

• Experience in Fibre/Mobile Network planning & Design Expertise on various telecommunication /Wireless Technologies Good Knowledge in various products offered by service provider Good Knowledge in Various Ms office Applications

Technical Competencies

• Candidate should Know about Telecom network Architecture and its components, should have detailed knowledge on Optical Fiber/Mobile Network and Geographical information system and its tools such as Auto CAD, Small world, Arc GIS, PEGA/SAP etc. Should have detailed knowledge about Fiber/Mobile network planning, Designing and As-builts, Quantity Surveying and Supplier management. Candidates have PMO skills considered as Additional value.
• Candidate should have good Communication skills to have different level of conversations with the on-shore / Off-shore stake holders.
• Should have Knowledge about Radio base station and its components. Should co-ordinate with the Field engineer to ensure the actions are aligned with 100% SLA & Quality
