Job summary

Tata Communications invites applications for a senior role leading end-to-end Fiber Rollout Delivery across the circle. You will plan, schedule, and execute fiber rollout projects, manage ROW approvals, coordinate vendors, and ensure delivery within time, budget, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has graduation with 8-15 years of relevant experience, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with telecom deployment tools and GIS applications such as Airtel

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end Fiber Rollout Project Delivery, including project planning, execution, Right of Way (ROW) management, material planning & reconciliation (RECO), vendor management, stakeholder coordination, and customer interface management, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams, partners, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders while driving project objectives.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, change management, and project closure.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and consistent delivery of project commitments.
• Ensure adherence to project milestones, monthly delivery targets, quality requirements, statutory regulations, safety standards, EHS compliance, and industry best practices.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, including ROW, material availability, and RECO-related challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project completion.
• Drive vendor and partner governance by ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, SLAs, operational requirements, and timely closure of delivery dependencies.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and acceptance processes to ensure deployment meets customer and organizational standards.
• Leverage project management tools and digital platforms for project tracking, reporting, resource planning, material governance, and performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with telecom deployment and project management tools such as Airtel Works, FF1, Google Earth, Lepton, and other relevant project delivery and GIS applications.

Broad outline of the Role

• Lead overall Circle Fiber Rollout Delivery, ensuring achievement of rollout targets, customer commitments, revenue realization, and business objectives.
• Own circle-level planning and execution of Fiber Rollout projects including project scheduling, resource planning, vendor deployment, ROW approvals, risk mitigation, and project governance.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Graduation with 8-15 years of relevant experience

Other Knowledge & Skills

• Project Delivery, FTTX, Fiber Rollout, Intra-city Route, Quality, LM Node delivery
• Ability to write and present a comprehensive vulnerability assessment report.
• Understanding of domain and related technologies, Airtel Fiber App, FF1 app, GIS, Google Earth, Lepton etc
• Understanding SOP, Specifications and methods to gain a better understanding of the environment and to get the delivery before time.
