Job summary

Excite Services is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage sourcing for civil construction and capex projects, preferably in industrial or EPC environments.

The role covers EPC tendering, bid evaluation, vendor negotiation, and ensuring compliance with import and customs requirements, along with collaboration across engineering, project, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with relevant procurement experience.
• Experience in civil procurement for capex projects and industrial/EPC environments.
• Familiarity with international standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for civil, CSA, and MEP packages.
• Manage tenders, RFIs/RFQs, vendor prequalification, bid evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotation comparisons; negotiate and finalize contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, plant, finance, logistics, and operations teams.
• Manage vendor performance, documentation, inspections, deliveries, and procurement compliance.
• Coordinate import shipments and related customs documentation.

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage sourcing for civil construction and capex projects, preferably in industrial or EPC environments.

Required experience and skills:

• Civil and construction procurement for capex projects.
• EPC tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Construction materials and packages such as PEB, HVAC, steel structures, fabrication, ducting, and waterproofing.
• Practical knowledge of imports, customs requirements, and HS codes.
• Strong cost analysis, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead procurement for civil, CSA (Civil, Structural and Architectural), and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) packages.
• Manage tenders, RFIs/RFQs, vendor prequalification, technical and commercial bid evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotation comparisons; negotiate and finalize contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, plant, finance, logistics, and operations teams.
• Manage vendor performance, documentation, inspections, deliveries, and procurement compliance.
• Coordinate import shipments and related customs documentation.

Familiarity with FIDIC, INCOTERMS, and international standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS, Eurocodes, ISO, or IEC is an advantage.
