Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in IT support or helpdesk roles, with desktop support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and Outlook for user assistance.
• Familiarity with network basics: LAN/WAN, VPN, and IT ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
• Troubleshoot OS, MS Office, email, and application-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions.
• Support LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and basic network connectivity issues.
• Assist with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and software license management.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and support.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets and maintain documentation.
• Support antivirus updates, patches, backups, and IT security procedures.

Working days - Monday to Saturday (6 days)

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist with 23 years of experience to provide technical support to employees, maintain IT systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, maintenance, and technical support.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain proper documentation.
• Support antivirus updates, system patches, data backup, and IT security procedures.
• Assist in the setup of IT equipment for new joiners and manage IT asset handovers during employee exits.
• Provide technical site support at 2-3 locations as and when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant technical qualifications are preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or technical helpdesk.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and peripheral configuration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and IT ticketing tools will be an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide timely technical assistance and support users across departments.
