Job summary

OYO is seeking an IT Support professional in Gurugram to deliver first-level support for hardware, software, network, and system issues. You will troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and Wi‑Fi, and assist with account setup and access control across Windows, macOS and Linux environments.

You will document tickets, follow defined SLAs, and guide users through step-by-step troubleshooting, including remote sessions when needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of IT/Desktop/Helpdesk experience.
• Experience with laptops, desktops and peripherals.
• Hands-on in Windows, macOS and Linux environments.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, Wi-Fi, and other IT peripherals.
• Configure and troubleshoot printers, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
• Provide technical assistance for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Support employees with account setup, system configuration, and access-related issues.
• Handle and resolve IT support tickets within defined timelines and ensure proper documentation.
• Guide users through simple, step-by-step troubleshooting instructions, including remote assistance where required.
• Install and maintain antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
• Perform patch management and routine system updates to ensure devices remain secure and up to date.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, hardware inventory, and software installations.
• Provide hands-on support for Mac systems and peripherals.
• Identify recurring technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate Level 2/Level 3 support teams.
• Ensure a high level of user satisfaction through timely and effective IT support.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-3 years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / Helpdesk Support.
• Good knowledge of laptops, desktops, hardware, and peripherals.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, Wi-Fi, LAN, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with printer configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of software installation, configuration, antivirus, and patch management.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and asset/inventory management.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide user support both remotely and on-site.
