Job summary

Chaosology is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications across staff and online classrooms.

The role focuses on rapid issue resolution, asset management, and secure operations, including support for Zoom/Google Meet/MS Teams and routine updates. A Diploma or Bachelor's in CS/IT is required with 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on technical support, desktop support, or system administration experience.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, LAN/Wi-Fi configuration, basic hardware repair, and active directory/software installations.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, patience, and clear communication skills.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve daily hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues for staff.
• Set up, configure, and deploy desktop computers, laptops, printers, routers, and peripheral gear.
• Manage user access, email accounts, system permissions, and software licensing.
• Monitor internet stability, perform routine system updates, and ensure operational cybersecurity.
• Provide technical assistance for online virtual classrooms and conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams).
• Maintain an organized inventory of technical assets and hardware equipment.
