MAXVY Technologies seeks a motivated Desktop Support Intern to join our IT team in Bengaluru. This role targets diploma holders or non-engineering graduates seeking hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and desktop support.

The position involves providing hands-on hardware and software support, configuring Windows and Linux, and assisting users with system and network issues. Interns may relocate to Bengaluru if needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders or Graduates (Freshers welcome).
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to relocate to Bengaluru (if not currently based here).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Assist end-users with system, network, and application-related issues.
• Perform system updates, software installations, and patch management.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Support basic networking tasks and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, network, and printer issues with on-site or remote support.
• Install, configure, and upgrade desktop OS, applications, and hardware components.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and imaging of systems.

Required Skills

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows10/11, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and VPNtroubleshooting.

Hardware Knowledge: Experience withlaptops, desktop peripherals, and networking equipment (routers/switches).

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift, move, and install computer equipment, often requiring travel to different workstations or offices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificationssuch as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician(MCDST), or equivalent.
• Priorinternship or practical exposure in desktop/technical support (addedadvantage).
