Job summary

Inspirisys in Bengaluru seeks a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day IT support for end users and ensure smooth operation of desktops, laptops, printers and IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues across hardware, software and basic network connectivity to keep users productive.

Qualifications

• Proven desktop support experience in Windows environments.
• Knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with Active Directory and helpdesk/ticketing tools.

• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, applications and hardware.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and network connectivity issues.

• Perform hardware/software installation, upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Handle IT incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
• Coordinate with network, server and other IT teams for escalations.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Ensure timely resolution of user issues as per SLA.

• ITIL knowledge/certification will be an added advantage.
