Job summary

Symbiosis Management Consultants seeks an IT procurement professional to closely align with IT stakeholders in designing and implementing IT initiatives. The role focuses on end-to-end purchasing, sourcing hardware, software, cloud services, and IT services, and coordinating across teams to define specs, scope, and licensing needs.

You will lead supplier evaluations, RFQs, and vendor selections, negotiating pricing, terms, renewals, warranties, SLAs and implementation milestones in collaboration

Qualifications

• End-to-end IT procurement experience including hardware, software, cloud services and IT services.
• Ability to defineSpecifications, scope, service requirements and licensing needs.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, RFQs/ROIs and vendor selection processes.
• Strong negotiation skills on costs, terms, renewals and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Closely work with IT stakeholders for IT initiatives and explore prospective solutions.
• Manage end-to-end procurement of IT goods and services including sourcing and purchasing activities.
• Partner with IT teams to translate business requirements into sourcing actions and define procurement timelines.
• Lead commercial evaluation, supplier selection and vendor negotiations with Procurement and IT stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with vendors, including warranties, SLAs, and renewal terms.

Job description

1. Closely work with IT Stakeholders for Solution in designing of IT Initiatives and support IT Stakeholders to explore prospective solutions.
2. Manage end-to-end procurement of IT goods and services
   Handle sourcing and purchasing activities for hardware, software, cloud services, telecom, IT professional services, maintenance agreements, and support contracts.
3. Partner with IT teams to translate business and technical requirements into sourcing actions
   Work with internal stakeholders to define specifications, scope, service requirements, licensing needs, and procurement timelines.
4. Lead commercial evaluation and supplier selection processes
   Helping in supplier comparisons, request quotations/proposals, evaluate commercial terms, and support vendor selection in coordination with Procurement and IT stakeholders.
5. Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with vendors
   Support or lead negotiations on costs, payment terms, renewals, warranties, service levels, implementation milestones, and commercial protections.
