Job summary

MY FM - Radio division of Dainik Bhaskar Group in Punjab is seeking an IT Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, install and support IT hardware, software, networking systems and FM radio broadcast equipment. The role ensures smooth day-to-day technical operations and minimum downtime.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance on UPS, DG, AC and electrical panels, coordinate with vendors, and support broadcasting workflows within the station environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics, ECE, IT, CS or Electrical.
• 2–5 years of IT hardware/software support, networking and/or FM broadcasting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, install and support IT hardware, software, networking systems and FM broadcast equipment.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations and minimum downtime.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a technically skilled engineer responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and support of IT hardware, software, networking systems and FM Radio broadcast equipment. The role will ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations and minimum downtime.

IT Hardware & Software Maintenance

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT peripherals.
• Troubleshooting of hardware, operating system and software-related issues.
• Installation and maintenance of required software, applications and utilities.
• Basic LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, switches, routers and network troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with IT vendors/service providers for hardware and software support.
• Perform preventive maintenance on UPS, DG, AC, electrical panels, and earthing systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, IT, Computer Science, Electrical or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in IT hardware/software support, networking and/or FM broadcasting.
