Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT hardware.
• Provide hardware and software troubleshooting and technical support to employees.
• Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls and network infrastructure.
• Monitor connectivity and resolve Internet, LAN/Wi‑Fi, VPN and server issues.
• Configure IP addressing, DHCP, DNS and basic network services.
• Maintain Windows operating systems, MS Office and business apps.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and permissions as required.
• Support CCTV, biometric/access‑control systems and other IT devices.
• Coordinate with ISPs, hardware vendors, and AMC/service providers.
• Maintain IT assets, hardware inventory, software licenses and network equipment.
• Perform routine backups, updates, antivirus checks, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in IT infrastructure installation at office and plant locations.
• Minimize downtime by prompt incident response and troubleshooting.
• Document network architecture, IP allocation and troubleshooting activities.

Position: Hardware & Networking Engineer

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT hardware.
• Provide hardware and software troubleshooting and technical support to employees.
• Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls and network infrastructure.
• Monitor network connectivity and resolve issues related to Internet, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN and server connectivity.
• Configure and maintain IP addressing, DHCP, DNS and basic network services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, MS Office and other business applications.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and permissions as per company requirements.
• Support CCTV, biometric/access-control systems, attendance systems and other IT-enabled devices, where required.

• Ensure minimum downtime by responding promptly to IT/network-related incidents.
• Maintain documentation of network architecture, IP allocation, hardware and troubleshooting activities.
• Support implementation of IT security policies and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Coordinate with the central IT team for system upgrades, network expansion and new installations.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware & Troubleshooting
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP
• Hands-on experience with Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi and Firewalls
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
• Knowledge of VPN and remote troubleshooting
• Experience with printer, scanner and peripheral configuration
• Knowledge of network cabling, patch panels and structured networking
• Basic understanding of IT security, antivirus and endpoint protection
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial organization or multi-location company
• Experience supporting plant/factory IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of ERP/business applications and user support
• Knowledge of CCTV, biometric and access-control systems
• Experience coordinating with vendors and AMC partners
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+ / Network+ or Microsoft certifications would be an advantage.
