Job summary

Affix Center in Mumbai seeks a Hardware Networking Engineer to join its IT Infrastructure team. You will handle hardware support, diagnose network issues, and maintain systems to ensure smooth IT operations.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor in CS/IT/Electronics, 3 years of HW&Networking experience, Windows OS proficiency, and basic router/switch knowledge. CCNA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in CS/IT/Electronics or related field.
• 3 years of Hardware & Networking support experience (freshers with strong knowledge are welcome).
• Good understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, IP configuration, and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of routers, switches, and network devices.
• CCNA certification or networking certification is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Perform Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Handle LAN/WAN connectivity issues and basic network administration.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and network devices.
• Provide desktop and end-user technical support.
• Manage IT assets, system inventory, and documentation.
• Support VPN, remote access, and basic firewall troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for IT infrastructure requirements.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain service quality.
