Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM iPlatform. The role involves RPG programming, database work with DB2 for i, and integration with business systems.

You will write RPG/RPGLE/RPG IV, work with CL/CLLE, SQL, and DDS, and provide production support, debugging, and performance tuning. Collaboration with analysts and other developers is essential.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM iSeries / AS/400 platform.
