Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) developer to design, build, and maintain critical applications. You will work on RPG/RPGLE/RPG IV programs, CL/CLLE and SQL, and collaborate with DB2 for i for data management and optimization.

You will diagnose issues, implement enhancements, and provide production support, while engaging in migration and modernization initiatives. A strong background in DDS, ILE, batch processing, and debugging utilities is essential.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
