Job summary

Purview Services in Kolkata, India, is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications. The role focuses on RPG programming, database development, and integration with business systems.

You will work with DB2 for i, SQL, CL/CLLE, DDS, and batch processing, provide production support, perform debugging, and collaborate with analysts and other developers. 6–9 years of hands-on IBM i experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries/AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
