Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) developer to design, develop, and maintain applications on the IBM i platform. You will work on RPG, RPGLE, RPG IV, and CL, with DB2 for i, SQL, and batch processing to deliver reliable business solutions.

You will analyze requirements, implement code, perform debugging, provide production support, and collaborate with analysts and other developers.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM iSeries / AS400 platform.
