Job summary

Purview Services in India (Odisha) seeks an experienced IBM iSeries (AS/400) developer to design, develop, maintain and enhance applications on the IBM i platform with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2 for i and SQL expertise.

Responsibilities include debugging, production support, batch jobs, interfaces, reports, and system utilities, plus API integration and documentation. The ideal candidate has 6–9 years of hands-on IBM iSeries experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.
