Job summary

Purview Services in India is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries RPG developer to design, develop, and maintain applications on the AS/400 platform. You will work on RPG/RPGLE, RPG IV, CL/CLLE, and SQL, with DB2 for i, to deliver reliable business solutions.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system integration, batch jobs, reports, and documentation; you will perform code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support, collaborating with analysts and other developers.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.
