Job summary

Purview Services seeks an experienced IBM iSeries developer to design, build, and maintain applications on the AS/400 platform. You will work with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and SQL to deliver robust business solutions.

The role involves database design with DB2 for i, batch processing, and integration with external systems. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and document technical solutions while collaborating with analysts and other developers.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
