Job summary

Purview Services in India is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries RPG developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance AS/400 applications. The role focuses on RPG programming, DB2 for i integration, and production support.

You will work on CL/CLLE, SQL, DDS, and ILE concepts, delivering batch jobs, interfaces, and reports while collaborating with analysts and other developers in a migration and modernization context.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE, RPG IV, and RPG.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
