Job summary

Purview Services in Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced IBM iSeries RPG developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance RPG-based applications on AS/400. The role emphasizes RPG programming, database development, and integration with business systems.

You will write RPG/ RPGLE / RPG IV, work with CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, and SQL, perform maintenance and troubleshooting, and collaborate with analysts and other developers on migrations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
