Job summary

Kasturi Creations in Faridabad, Haryana is seeking an experienced Inventory and Warehouse Operator to manage day-to-day stock movement, inwarding, picking, packing and dispatch. You will maintain SKU-level accuracy, conduct counts, and coordinate with ecommerce and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Inventory Management / Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory and warehouse operations.
• Handle inwarding, receiving, checking, tagging, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain SKU-wise inventory with style, size, colour and category.
• Ensure 100% inventory accuracy between physical stock and systems.
• Conduct stock counts, cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Coordinate with D2C/e-commerce, customer service and logistics for timely fulfillment.
• Ensure orders are picked, checked and packed within dispatch timelines.
• Manage returns, exchanges and RTO inventory with quality checks.
• Monitor damaged, missing and ageing inventory; maintain records.
• Handle premium ethnic garments with care; maintain storage quality.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness; proper SKU placement.
• Coordinate with courier/logistics for daily pickups and dispatches.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory and warehouse MIS reports.
• Identify discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Support stock transfers across channels as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and warehouse processes.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and accurate stock movement.
• Handle inwarding, receiving, checking, tagging, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch of products.
• Maintain accurate SKU-wise inventory, including style, size, colour and category.
• Ensure 100% inventory accuracy between physical stock and system records.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts and physical inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the D2C/e-commerce, customer service and logistics teams for timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure all customer orders are picked, checked and packed accurately within defined dispatch timelines.
• Manage returns, exchanges and RTO inventory, including quality checks and re‑stocking.
• Monitor damaged, defective, missing and ageing inventory and maintain proper records.
• Ensure premium ethnic garments are handled, folded, stored and packed carefully to maintain product quality.
• Maintain proper warehouse organization, cleanliness and efficient SKU placement.
• Coordinate with courier/logistics partners for daily pickups and dispatches.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory and warehouse MIS reports.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and operational issues and take corrective action.
• Support stock transfers between warehouse, studio, stores, exhibitions or other sales channels, wherever required.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, inventory controls and warehouse processes.
• Take ownership of inventory accuracy, order fulfillment and overall warehouse efficiency.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management / Warehouse Operations.
• Candidates from Fashion, Apparel, Ethnic Wear, Lifestyle, Retail, E-commerce or D2C brands will be preferred.
• Strong hands‑on experience in inventory handling and SKU management.
• Good understanding of inward, outward, picking, packing, dispatch, returns and stock reconciliation.
• Experience handling high-value/premium products with attention to product quality and presentation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and inventory management systems.
• Experience with Shopify, ERP, WMS or e-commerce order management systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical and organizational skills.
• Should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced D2C environment and managing daily dispatch deadlines.
• Strong ownership, accountability and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Should be hands‑on and willing to actively participate in warehouse operations, rather than only handling documentation.
• Candidates who have independently managed inventory/warehouse operations will be preferred.
