About Broadway

Broadway is reimagining modern retail by combining experience‑led commerce with operational excellence. We operate at the intersection of retail, technology, and supply chain, enabling seamless product availability and customer fulfillment across multiple channels. As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for experienced supply chain professionals who can build robust inventory processes and drive operational excellence across our warehouse network.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Inventory Manager with a strong background in the Quick Commerce industry to lead inventory planning, control, and governance for a large‑scale warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing high‑SKU inventory, fast‑moving products, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy across multiple fulfillment centers or a Pan‑India warehouse network. This role requires a highly analytical and process‑driven professional who can ensure optimal inventory health, minimise stock losses, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth through effective inventory management practices.

Core Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Control

  • Own end‑to‑end inventory management for a large‑format warehouse handling high‑volume and high‑SKU operations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through robust stock control processes, cycle counts, and periodic audits.
  • Monitor stock movement, ageing inventory, shrinkage, damages, and stock adjustments.
  • Ensure real‑time inventory visibility and accuracy across Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Develop and implement inventory governance frameworks to minimise discrepancies and losses.

Pan‑India Inventory Operations

  • Manage inventory planning and control across multiple warehouses, fulfillment centres, or dark store networks.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers and replenishment across locations to maintain optimal stock availability.
  • Establish inventory SOPs and standardise processes across the network.
  • Drive inventory optimisation initiatives to improve stock turns and reduce working capital requirements.

Audit & Reconciliation

  • Lead daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory audits.
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure timely stock reconciliation between physical inventory and system records.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams for inventory closure and reporting.

Process Excellence & Analytics

  • Analyse inventory KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Drive root‑cause analysis for inventory losses, stock mismatches, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for inventory health, stock availability, fill rates, and inventory accuracy.
  • Leverage data insights to improve forecasting and inventory utilisation.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor inventory executives, warehouse associates, and audit teams.
  • Build a culture of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular training on inventory management best practices and SOP adherence.

Technology & Systems

  • Ensure effective utilisation of WMS, ERP, and inventory management tools.
  • Partner with technology teams to improve inventory tracking, reporting, and automation.
  • Support implementation of new inventory systems, controls, and warehouse technologies.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain functions.
  • Mandatory experience in the Quick Commerce industry (e.g., dark stores, rapid delivery, grocery quick commerce, instant commerce platforms).
  • Proven experience managing inventory for large warehouses and Pan‑India distribution networks.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies, stock audits, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with WMS, ERP systems, and inventory analytics tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with tight operational SLAs.
