VitalPro Consumer Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Executive / Shift In-Charge to manage daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, order processing, dispatch and inventory movement.

The role requires experience in FMCG or e-commerce warehouses and comfort working on the warehouse floor. The ideal candidate will handle shift management, ensure accurate SKUs, coordinate with logistics partners, and maintain documentation, while upholding food safety and hygiene

Warehouse Executive / Shift In-Charge Dispatch & Packing

Brands: Saffron & Mishri | Wholicious | 224 Craftery Location: Mumbai Experience: 1–5 years Function: Warehouse / Operations / Dispatch About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Executive / Shift In-Charge to manage day-to-day warehouse operations including picking, packing, order processing, dispatch and inventory movement. The ideal candidate should have experience working in FMCG warehouses, e-commerce warehouses, dark stores, quick-commerce hubs, D2C fulfilment centres or similar environments and should be comfortable managing operations on the warehouse floor.

Key Responsibilities (Not all of them would be applicable for each candidate)

1. Order Picking & Packing

• Manage daily picking and packing of customer, marketplace, quick-commerce and institutional orders.


• Ensure correct SKU, quantity, batch and packing configuration before dispatch. Ensure products are packed as per defined SOPs and quality standards.


• Coordinate with production / stores for availability of finished goods.


• Ensure proper handling of fragile, premium and food products.


• Plan and execute daily dispatches based on delivery schedules and cut-offs.


• Coordinate with courier partners, local delivery partners, transporters and other logistics partners.


• Prepare shipments, labels, invoices, delivery documents and other required dispatch documentation. Ensure all orders are handed over within defined dispatch timelines.


• Track pending / delayed / short shipments and elevate issues promptly.

3. Warehouse Operations

Manage day-to-day movement of inventory within the warehouse. Maintain proper FIFO / FEFO practices, particularly for food products.

• Ensure proper storage, stacking, labelling and segregation of SKUs.


• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adherence to food safety and hygiene requirements.


• Monitor packing material availability and raise replenishment requirements.


• Maintain accurate physical inventory at the warehouse. Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks.


• Reconcile physical stock with system / register inventory. Identify and report shortages, damages, excesses and inventory discrepancies.


• Ensure proper inward and outward documentation.

5. Shift Management

• Manage manpower deployed during the shift and allocate work based on daily order volumes. Monitor productivity of pickers, packers and helpers.


• Ensure smooth shift handover with pending orders and operational issues clearly communicated. Take ownership of achieving daily dispatch targets.

6. MIS & Reporting

• Maintain daily reports for: Orders received Orders picked & packed Orders dispatched Pending orders Inventory discrepancies


• Escalate operational issues and delays to the Warehouse / Supply Chain Manager.

Ideal Candidate

• 1–5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfilment, dispatch or last-mile operations. Experience in e-commerce / quick commerce / dark stores / FMCG / D2C warehouses will be strongly preferred.


• Should be comfortable working on the warehouse floor and performing hands‑on operational activities. Good understanding of picking, packing, inventory, dispatch and warehouse processes.


• Experience managing warehouse helpers / packers will be an advantage. Basic computer skills and ability to work on Excel / Google Sheets / warehouse or ERP systems


• . Good communication and coordination skills.


• Should be comfortable working in shifts and during peak sales periods / festivals.

Preferred Background

• Candidates who have worked with: Amazon / Flipkart / BigBasket / Zepto / Blinkit / Swiggy Instamart / D2C fulfilment centres / FMCG warehouses / dark stores / 3PL warehouses / courier hubs or similar operations would be preferred.
