Job summary

bigbasket is seeking an Inventory Controller to oversee stock movements, reports, and reconciliations across multiple locations in Nelamangala, Karnataka. You will coordinate deliveries, maintain planograms, and drive shrinkage reduction while ensuring data accuracy in the inventory database.

The role involves weekly and monthly stock checks, generating MIS reports, and supporting fraud reduction across logistics and operations. Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential.

• Strong focus on accuracy in stock reconciliation and MIS reporting
• Ability to assess fraud risks within inventory processes

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock, deliveries and logistics
• Monitor stock levels and carry out periodic stock takes
• Knowledge in doing planograms to change locations depending on business
• Record all stock movement and deliveries in database and prepare regular reports
• Inventory Reconciliations and MIS Reports
• TO / TI reconciliations
• Reduction in Damages & Expiries
• Ensuring stock checks (weekly & monthly)
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly management reports
• Fraud assessments & reduction across the business functions
• Shrinkage, Dump, Damages & Expiries control / reporting
• Reduction in pilferage / shrink levels
• Location wise asset ownership recording, reconciliation, Periodic verification
• Have to report inventory controller .ole & responsibilities
