Job summary

Greytip Software Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Storekeeper to maintain real-time stock records, monitor levels across factory, warehouse, and outlets, and reconcile discrepancies. The role involves goods receiving, dispatch, and weekly audits within an FMCG/food-focused environment.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of inventory experience, graduates in Commerce/Business, and strong MS Excel/ERP skills to ensure accurate data entry and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce/Business or related field (B.Com/BBA preferred).
• 1–3 years in inventory/storekeeping roles, preferably in food/retail sector.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and stock software/ERP.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time inventory records using inventory software.
• Monitor daily stock levels across locations (factory, warehouse, outlets).
• Reconcile physical stock with system stock periodically.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders.
• Ensure timely dispatch of materials to outlets as per requisitions.
• Generate GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and issue slips accurately.
• Conduct weekly/monthly physical stock audits.
• Prepare stock variance reports and analyze discrepancies.
• Share daily/weekly inventory reports with the management.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Outlet Managers to manage stock flow.
• Follow up on stock requests and provide timely updates.
• Identify and report slow-moving, expired, or damaged stock.
• Monitor wastage and pilferage trends and suggest preventive actions.
• Use ERP/Inventory management system
• Follow SOPs for stock movement, documentation, and data entry.
