Job summary

Think People Solutions is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller with 6–8 years in inventory control, reconciliation or auditing. You will manage reconciliation between system stock, physical stock, and book stock, and lead efforts across 3PLs, marketplaces, and retail channels.

The role includes AMS/Myntra inventory, returns, RTOs, and claims handling. You will conduct cycle counts and variance analyses, ensure dispatch integrity, monitor transfers and shrinkage, and collaborate with

• Partner with Finance for GL reconciliation and month-end inventory close.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily/weekly/monthly system stock vs physical stock vs book stock reconciliation


• Drive 3PL, marketplace and retail inventory reconciliation


• Manage Amazon & Myntra inventory, returns, RTOs, shortages and claims


• Conduct cycle counts, blind counts, stock audits and variance analysis


• Ensure OMS order invoice/e-way bill physical dispatch integrity


• Monitor inventory transfers, GRNs, shrinkage and reverse logistics


• Manage inventory claims and recovery from marketplaces, couriers and 3PLs


• Partner with Finance for GL reconciliation, month-end inventory close and COGS adjustments


• Handle FIFO / Weighted Average inventory valuation and NRV testing


• Develop inventory dashboards and monitor inventory accuracy, shrinkage, claims and overselling


• Build SOPs, control matrices, adjustment logs and audit trails


• Work with Tech/Business Systems to resolve OMS/WMS/ERP integration and inventory sync issues


• Build and eventually lead a small inventory-control team

Ideal Candidate:

• 6-8 years of experience in inventory control, reconciliation or inventory audit


• Experience in omnichannel retail, e-commerce or consumer brands


• Hands-on experience with marketplace + 3PL reconciliation


• Strong understanding of inventory valuation and Finance processes


• Advanced Excel is mandatory
