Job summary

Idam Natural Wellness is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Inventory in Haryana to lead inventory planning, control, and optimization across warehouse operations. You will maintain stock accuracy, minimize discrepancies, and drive efficient movement of inventory.

You will oversee cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliation, and KPI dashboards, coordinating with planning, procurement, SCM, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure optimal levels and timely month-end closures.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain
• Proficient with WMS/ERP/OMS systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and MIS dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and stock audits
• Familiarity with D2C, e-commerce, retail, FMCG supply chains
• Ability to manage large SKU volumes in high-transaction environments

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inventory operations across warehouses and DCs
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
• Drive inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system stock
• Track GRN, put-away, inward, outward, returns, damages, and stock adjustments
• Monitor SKU-level inventory and identify excess, ageing, and obsolete stock
• Ensure optimum inventory levels based on demand and sales trends
• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, SCM, Warehouse, Finance and business teams
• Analyze discrepancies and conduct RCA and corrective actions
• Prepare and monitor inventory MIS and dashboards for KPIs
• Ensure returns, damaged, expired, and blocked inventory are properly managed
• Implement and maintain inventory control processes and SOPs
• Monitor warehouse processes to reduce stock loss and errors
• Support month-end inventory closing and reconciliation with Finance
• Ensure inventory transactions are updated in WMS/ERP/OMS
• Lead periodic stock audits and cycle counts
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory productivity and reduce working capital
• Manage inventory team to achieve KPIs

The role will be responsible for maintaining optimum inventory levels, minimizing inventory discrepancies, ensuring stock accuracy, and driving efficient inventory movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inventory operations across warehouses/DCs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and physical verification.
• Drive inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system stock.
• Track GRN, put-away, inward, outward, returns, damages, and stock adjustments.
• Monitor SKU-level inventory and identify excess, ageing, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels based on demand, sales trends, and business requirements.
• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, SCM, Warehouse, Finance, and Business teams for inventory-related activities.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and conduct RCA and corrective action.
• Prepare and monitor inventory MIS and dashboards covering stock accuracy, ageing, inventory turns, shrinkage, and variance.
• Ensure proper management of returns, damaged, expired, and blocked inventory.
• Implement and maintain inventory control processes and SOPs.
• Monitor warehouse processes to minimize stock loss, shrinkage, and operational errors.
• Support month-end inventory closing and reconciliation with Finance.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurately updated in WMS/ERP/OMS.
• Lead and support periodic physical stock audits and cycle counting.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory productivity, reduce working capital, and optimize warehouse space.
• Manage and guide inventory executives/team members to achieve operational KPIs.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management & Warehouse Operations
• Good understanding of WMS / ERP / OMS
• Advanced MS Excel skills Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, MIS, dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and stock audits

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 47 years of experience in Inventory Management / Warehouse / Supply Chain
• Experience handling inventory in D2C, E-commerce, FMCG, Beauty & Personal Care, Retail, or Quick Commerce
• Experience managing high-volume SKU and multi-channel inventory
• Candidates with hands-on experience in WMS/ERP-based inventory management will be preferred.
• Strong exposure to inventory reporting, reconciliation, audits, and process improvement.
