Job summary

Confidential in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Executive to support International Markets initiatives. You will assist with lead generation, coordinate BD activities, and manage relationships across global markets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will primarily be in charge of:

• Support international trips and other business development efforts, including identification of leads, coordination of internal activities before and after trips;
• Provide support for client meeting preparations (pitches & presentations);
• Enhance the Firms tracking tools on relationships in various international markets and monitor activity with them on an ongoing basis;
• Develop and nurture relationships with intermediaries the firm can organise joint business development activities with;
• Be the lead project manager on new BD initiatives (events, webinars, trade fairs etc.);
• Support auxiliary functions to International Business Development, such as marketing, communication, research, data analytics, relationships with foreign firms

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experience: Ideally 3-4 years, preferably with experience in a professional services firm and exposure to lead generation, business development or international relations.
• Strong analytical ability: Able to research markets, sectors, companies and relationships, identify relevant opportunities, and translate information into practical recommendations.
• Clear communication skills: Articulate, well-spoken and confident, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior internal stakeholders as well as external contacts.
• Comfortable across front-end and back-end work: Equally willing and able to manage relationship-facing responsibilities and detailed execution, including research, tracking, coordination and follow-ups.
• Hands-on and detail-oriented: Comfortable producing cheat sheets, briefing notes, profiles and other research material regularly, without losing interest in the detailed or repetitive aspects of the role.
