Job summary

Rocket Learning invites a proactive Talent Acquisition Intern to join our People & Culture team for a 3‑month engagement. You will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to closing roles, while collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders across the organization.

The role emphasizes sourcing, screening, coordination, and data upkeep in our ATS, with mentorship from the TA/People team.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of prior experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment (internship) is desired.
• Pursuing or completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
• Good understanding of sourcing techniques (Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards).
• Ownership mindset and community-oriented approach.
• Good to have: Prior hands‑on experience with an ATS such as Zoho Recruit or any other applicant tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source relevant candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels for open positions across functions.
• Conduct initial resume screening and telephonic screening to assess candidate fit against role requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, align on job requirements, and provide regular pipeline status updates.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and interview panels to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Maintain and update candidate data accurately in the ATS (Zoho Recruit or equivalent) and internal trackers.
• Support in offer rollouts, following up with candidates, and driving roles to closure within defined timelines.
• Track key recruitment metrics (TAT, source effectiveness, pipeline health) and share periodic updates with the TA team.
• Assist in posting job openings on relevant platforms and contribute ideas to improve candidate outreach and engagement.
