Job summary

You'll work with cross-functional teams, promote the SmartQ app, and contribute to reporting improvements. A foundational hotel management background and strong communication are valued, with on-site responsibilities in client locations.

Qualifications

• Hotel Management or diploma in HM required or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with accountability.
• Ability to take initiative and work with integrity and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Promote the SmartQ digital platform and app benefits.
• Guide users to download and use the App and pay via digital wallets.
• Develop operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Willingness to commute to client locations and visit kitchens; owning a two-wheeler is an added advantage.

As an Intern - Operations at SmartQ, your primary goal will be to take responsibility for managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with the overall strategic goals of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the use of the SmartQ digital platform by explaining the benefits and convenience of the SmartQ Ordering App, including available offers.
• Encourage users to download and use the App by providing guidance and training. Assist individuals without the App in placing orders and making payments through digital wallets
• Contribute to the development of operational strategies aligned with overall organizational goals.
• Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Implement and monitor streamlined workflows and standardized procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges
• Identify potential risks to operations and implement mitigation strategies
• Willingness to commute to client location, and carry out kitchen visits; owning two- wheeler will be an added advantage
• Contribute ideas to improve reporting formats, data accuracy, and overall process efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Hotel Management/ Diploma in HM with a keen interest in applying skills in a professional setting.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability, with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
• Demonstrates strong accountability and flexibility in taking ownership of responsibilities and adapting to changing needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
