Job summary

SmartQ is seeking an Executive - Operations to oversee daily operations, drive efficiency, and align with strategic goals. You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate with clients and teams, and solve operational challenges.

You will promote the SmartQ Ordering App, train users, coordinate with food partners to update menus and push notifications, ensure hygiene and SOPs, collect feedback, and maintain HSE records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Strong communication skills in English and local language.
• Basic computer skills and integrity.
• Collaborative team player capable of guiding staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote the SmartQ Ordering App benefits to users.
• Train users to download and use the App and assist those without the App in placing orders.
• Coordinate daily with food partners to update menus and reflect changes in the App.
• Conduct cafe hygiene checks and hourly governance reviews.
• Maintain a positive work environment and collect feedback from employees and clients.
• Ensure SOPs for displays, counters, and service areas are followed.
• Inspect work areas for waste disposal and maintain HSE records.
• Report equipment downtime and follow ESWP guidelines.

This position requires strong skills in vendor management, client and team coordination, and problem-solving to effectively handle operational challenges.

• Promote the use of the SmartQ digital platform by explaining the benefits and convenience of the SmartQ Ordering App, including available offers.

• Encourage users to download and use the App by providing guidance and training. Assist individuals without the App in placing orders and making payments through digital wallets.

• Coordinate daily with food partners to update menu items and work with the technology team to ensure these changes are reflected on the App, including timely push notifications and banner updates.

• Conduct Cafe hygiene checks, perform hourly governance reviews, address issues promptly, and report any incidents, accidents, or near misses to the reporting manager.

• Maintain a positive work environment and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery. Regularly collect feedback from employees and clients at cafeterias.

• Ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements for displays, counters, and service areas. Monitor cafeteria counters to ensure adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Inspect work areas during and after operations to ensure proper waste disposal. Maintain Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) records and temperature logs, and report any deviations.

• Ensure all equipment is used according to Equipment Safety Work Procedures (ESWP) and report equipment downtime to the appropriate departments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1+ year of relevant experience is required.

• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management discipline.

• Passionate about delivering high-quality service to both clients and employees, with strong communication skills in English and the local language.

• Basic computer skills, eager to learn, and demonstrates honesty and integrity.

• A collaborative team player with the ability to guide and manage food partner staff, showing self-motivation and initiative.

• Flexible and willing to take on any tasks to support team efforts.
