Job summary

SmartQ is seeking a Senior Operations Executive to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. You will lead planning, team coordination, and problem-solving to streamline processes and improve service levels.

Willingness to visit client sites, oversee kitchen operations, and handle budgets will be essential for success. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a hands-on approach to operational challenges across food and technology

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Knowledge of the local language is mandatory.
• Overall 5 years of experience with minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.
• Willingness to work six days a week.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of operational strategies aligned with overall organizational goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to establish and implement policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Implement and monitor streamlined workflows and standardized procedures.
• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations.
• Optimize resource utilization to maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges.
• Identify potential risks to operations and implement mitigation strategies.
• Willingness to commute to client location and carry out kitchen visits; owning two-wheeler will be an added advantage.
• Vendor relationship management.
• Client relationship management.
• Tracking & managing on ground operations of site.
• Regular tracking of MIS data & reporting.
• Resolving on-ground situations & conflicts.
• Successfully implementation of system & process.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge and experience of working with food, technology and people management.
• Result-oriented and accountability.
• Proven experience in managing successful teams in a similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of HSEQ standards.
• Excellent financial and application acumen.
• Self-motivated, agile and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Overall 5years of experience with minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management discipline.
• Knowledge of the local language is mandatory.
• The candidate will be required to work for 6 days a week.
• SmartQ will provide travel reimbursements as per travel policy.
