Job summary

Tata Technologies in Pune is seeking a Design Development engineer for BIW TRIMS with 4–6 years of experience in mechanical/automobile design. You will contribute to interior trim design, feasibility studies, and PLM data management using Teamcenter TC/TCUA.

Strong CATIA knowledge and cross-functional collaboration are essential for delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with DFMEA/DVP, GDT, and product design of interior trims, and will

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge CATIA
• Proficient in PLM - Teamcenter (TC/TCUA)
• Experience with GDT and stack-up analysis
• Knowledge of DFMEA/DVP for design validation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze customer feedback and provide design solutions
• Experience in product design of interior trims
• Feasibility studies and process benchmarking
• Participation in cross-functional teams for cost/quality improvements

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional teams (CFT) for organizational requirements towards continual improvement (cost reduction, quality improvement)
• Provide design solutions based on customer feedback
• Work on product design of interiors and plastic soft trims in interiors
• Conduct feasibility studies and benchmark processes against best practices
• Demonstrate proficiency in Teamcenter TC/TCUA for design data management
