Job summary

Hinduja Tech in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead automotive exterior trims design and development, including exterior panels, bumpers and cladding, while managing multiple complex programs.

You will ensure designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer requirements, and deliver projects on schedule, with strong GD&T, plastic part design knowledge, and tooling feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
• 3 to 10 years of CAD experience.
• Experience on Exterior trims and execution of at least 1 full program from Scratch till SOP.
• Knowledge of automotive trim product design cycles, milestones and gateways.
• Good knowledge of plastic part design and tooling for feasibility with tooling direction, parting line, and slider/lifter construction.
• Exposure to interface checks, DMU, Manufacturing and Service requirements.
• Understanding of GD&T with hands-on GD&T experience.

• Understand GD & T and have hands on experience on basic GD &Tolerance.
