Job summary

Aarti Industries Ltd. in Bharuch seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair instrumentation and control systems used in chemical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and related equipment.

• Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related engineering.
• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or process industry preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Instrument Technician role based at Aarti Industries Ltd. in Bharuch. The Instrument Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control systems used in chemical manufacturing processes. Day-to-day activities include performing routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on field instruments, control valves, transmitters, and related equipment. The role involves troubleshooting instrument and control issues, supporting process control improvements, and ensuring that all instrumentation operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with company standards and regulations. The Instrument Technician will collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and related equipment, with hands-on experience in Instrumentation and Calibration.
• Ability to maintain system reliability through Preventive Maintenance and routine condition monitoring activities.
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues in industrial systems using Troubleshooting and Process Control skills.
• Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or process industry manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Understanding of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices in industrial plants.
• Capability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
