Job summary

Vaaman Engineer India Ltd. in Lanjigarh, Odisha invites an experienced Instrument Technician to join our maintenance team in an Alumina Refinery / Process Industry. The role emphasizes instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and fault finding across pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices.

You will engage in PLC/DCS/SCADA related tasks, perform loop checks, ensure safe operations, and coordinate with Operations and Electrical teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years experience in instrumentation maintenance in refinery/process industry.
• ITI/ Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics & Instrumentation required.
• Knowledge of calibration and maintenance of transmitters, gauges, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshooting of pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments.
• Calibration and maintenance of transmitters, gauges, switches and sensors.
• Maintenance of control valves, actuators and positioners.
• Basic troubleshooting of PLC / DCS / SCADA systems.
• Perform loop checking, instrument testing and functional checks.
• Attend breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow SOP, safety and permit-to-work procedures.
• Coordinate with Operations, Electrical and Maintenance teams.
