Job summary

ESP Engineered is seeking a skilled technician for the maintenance and calibration of field instruments in India. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and documentation in compliance with GMP and data integrity standards.

The ideal candidate should possess ITI qualifications and be proficient in reading P&ID and loop diagrams. Safety in hazardous areas and following EHS guidelines is paramount.

• Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance of field instruments.
• Calibration, testing, and commissioning of various instruments.
• Ensure calibration traceability and proper documentation.
• Maintenance of control valves, actuators, and positioners.
• Loop checking and signal verification.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, and trial runs.

Job description

Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance of field instruments

Calibration, testing, and commissioning of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments

Ensure Calibration traceability, Proper labeling (calibrated / due / out of service), Documentation as per GMP & data integrity

Maintenance of control valves, actuators, and positioners

Loop checking, signal verification, and panel wiring

PLC/DCS field instrumentation support (I/O checks, wiring verification)

Operation and maintenance of instrument air systems

Maintain and handle calibration tools and measuring instruments

Support plant start-up, shutdown, and trial runs

Ensure proper housekeeping and documentation

Follow EHS guidelines, permit-to-work, and LOTO procedures

Work safely in flameproof and hazardous areas

Implement preventive actions to avoid instrumentation failures

Instrument calibration and troubleshooting
