Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, calibration, and breakdown maintenance of field instruments and control systems in an API manufacturing plant.
• Maintain and troubleshoot transmitters, control valves, analyzers, sensors, gauges, PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Ensure reliable operation of process instrumentation to support uninterrupted plant production.
• Execute calibration activities and maintain calibration records as per GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Attend instrumentation breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and maintain instrumentation documentation, SOPs, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and improvement projects related to instrumentation and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and engineering standards during all maintenance activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 2-9 years of experience in API, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Process Industries.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance and calibration of process instruments.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, Control Valves, Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Level Instruments.
• Familiarity with automation systems, loop checking, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of GMP documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
