Role Description

The Human Resources Recruitment Officer will manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection processes for academic, administrative, and support roles. This full-time, on-site position based in Thane involves collaborating with department heads to understand workforce needs, developing accurate and inclusive job descriptions, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. The role includes maintaining recruitment records, supporting onboarding and induction programs, and contributing to employer branding initiatives to attract diverse and high-potential talent. The Recruitment Officer will also assist in implementing HR policies, promoting fair and transparent hiring practices, and supporting employee relations and engagement activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Ability to develop clear, inclusive, and role-specific Job Description Development aligned with institutional needs.
• Understanding of HR Policies and compliance requirements, with the capacity to support consistent and fair application of these policies.
• Skills in Employee Relations, including effective communication, conflict resolution, and supporting a positive work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; advanced HR certifications are an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency in recruitment tools, HRIS or applicant tracking systems, and basic MS Office applications.
• Ability to handle multiple recruitment mandates, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
